# Mint Synthetic RWA Tokens with Airway

> Deposit collateral to receive ERC-20 synthetic RWA tokens in your wallet. Airway handles collateral assessment and token issuance in one automated transaction.

Minting synthetic RWA tokens on Airway converts your collateral into ERC-20 tokens that track the value of a real-world asset. The process is fully automated: you select the product, deposit the collateral, and the protocol mints tokens and transfers them to your wallet — all in a single on-chain transaction with no off-chain steps or manual calculations. Once minted, your sRWA tokens are immediately usable across the DeFi ecosystem for trading, staking, and liquidity provision.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Select a synthetic RWA product">
    Browse the available sRWA products and choose the one you want to mint. Each product represents a specific real-world asset — a stock, commodity, bond, ETF, or index — and is backed by an on-chain CDP vault. All products use the ERC-20 standard, so they are compatible with any wallet or DeFi protocol that supports ERC-20 tokens.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Deposit collateral">
    Enter the amount of sRWA tokens you want to mint. Airway's protocol automatically calculates the required collateral based on the asset's current oracle price and the protocol's collateralization ratio. You do not need to compute this manually — the interface displays the exact collateral amount before you confirm.

    <Info>
      Collateral requirements update in real time as the underlying asset price changes. The amount shown at confirmation is the amount the protocol will use.
    </Info>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Receive your tokens">
    Once you confirm the transaction, the protocol mints the synthetic RWA tokens and transfers them directly to your wallet. The minting is entirely on-chain — collateral custody, ratio enforcement, and token issuance all happen atomically in the same transaction, with no off-chain intermediary involved.

    <Note>
      Your tokens appear in your wallet immediately after the transaction confirms. No claim step or delay is required.
    </Note>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Put your tokens to work">
    Your sRWA tokens are now ready to use. Because they are standard ERC-20 tokens, you can:

    * **Trade** them on any DEX or CEX that supports ERC-20 assets
    * **Stake** them in Airway's dual or single staking pools to earn yield
    * **Provide liquidity** on Uniswap V4 and stake your LP tokens for additional rewards
    * **Transfer or compose** them with any other DeFi protocol in the ecosystem
  </Step>
</Steps>
